Is it green? Or is it qing?
Be inspired by China’s perception of blue-green colours.
In the West, there is blue and there is green. But in China, there is qing (pronounced ‘ching’), which is a shade that’s either blueish-green or greenish-blue, depending on your point of view.
Plenty of colours fit this gorgeous mix of blue and green, including teal, turquoise and cerulean. They make great colours for bathrooms, especially smaller spaces that need a little help looking airy and bright. After all, it’s so much easier to imagine yourself floating in a tropical sea when you’re already surrounded by marine-inspired hues.
